East Africa is truly the big game destination of the continent with Kenya and Tanzania having the lion share of the top safari park.

The itinerary superbly combines the better of the 2 countries. Starting from Nairobi we travel to Amboseli where you get the vast African plains dotted with elephants, giraffes, wildebeests and antelopes with Africa high peak the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro at the backdrop. From here, cross the border to Tanzania and you get Lake Manyara, the beautiful African rift valley lake Ngorongoro and the spectacular volcanic crater with the densest game population in Africa. The trip culminates with the top 2 game parks Serengeti and Maasai Mara. These are where your vision of Africa with endless plains, thousands of hoofed animals and super predators in attendance comes true.

Day to day Itinerary

 

  • Day 1 Nairobi - Amboseli

Breakfast at your hotel, embark on a relaxed drive down Mombasa road to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. Later embark on an afternoon game drive.

 

Elephants in Amboseli

Spend the entire day at the park with morning and evening game drives. This is a premium park in Kenya famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants in their multitudes. The park also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Apart from guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see wildebeest and zebras, and you’ve a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate.


 

Lake Manyara

After breakfast drive across to the border into Tanzania and arrive at the interesting township of Arusha. From here another 1 hour drive brings us to Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara is situated beneath the Manyara escarpment at the edge of the Africa great valley offering lovely scenery and the spectacular sight of huge flocks of flamingoes and other abundant bird life. It is also famous for the unique tree climbing lions .the amazing varied eco-system also attracts a wide variety of wildlife.


 

 

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast have a game drive enroute to Ngorongoro crater arriving in time for lunch. Relax for a while before going for a game drive later in the day.

Vultures at Ngorongoro

Full day with morning and evening game drives. The crater is a truly remarkable area encompassing a self-contained eco-system, which is sustained the greatest concentration of the wildlife on Earth.

In addition to the big 5 there are also birdlife in abundance vultures, pink-neck marabou storks and thousands of greater and lesser flamingoes. Moreover the settling of the dramatic crater walls is by itself a nature spectacle.  

Game Drive at Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart and head to Serengeti national park arriving in time for lunch. Later embark on a game drive.

Wilderbeest

Serengeti is Africa’s premier game park and where your vision of Africa comes true. On its endless and almost treeless plains are literally millions of hooved animals, watched and pursued by predators.

Nowhere else will you see such great concentration of wildebeest’s zebras, antelopes, millions of grants and Thompson gazelles? Serengeti has the highest concentration of large mammals on this planet.

Have morning and evening game drives.

Saronera Airstrip

After breakfast transfer to Seronera airstrip for flight to Maasai Mara via Nairobi. The park is the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. Check in to your lodge and embark on your late afternoon to evening game drive.

The Big Cat

 Embark on a  full day  game drives  in the famous Maasai Mara national reserve, in search of the famous big five and the many plains game that roam the vast plains. This is Africa’s greatest Wildlife Reserve; famous for the Big 5, the Big Cats and the Great Wildebeest migration and the Maasai People. Additionally, the Maasai Mara ecosystem holds one of the highest lion densities in the world. It is a remarkable experience.

We will have breakfast and then leave the Mara with a game drive enroute and get to witness what the Famous Mara has to offer for one last time. Later on we leave for Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and dropped at the airport or place of residence.
