Samburu National Reserve is one of the most unique national reserves in Kenya. It’s a semi desert with a rugged hilly terrain, great rocky kopjes and lots of springs supporting the abundant wildlife The Ewaso Nyiro River nestled inside the park ensures a year round provision of wildlife and home to unique species found only in the region, like the Blue-Legged Ostrich, the elusive Grevy’s Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, long-necked Gerenuk and reticulated giraffe. The big five are also in plenty as well as birdlife.

Tour Schedule

 

  • Day 1 Nairobi - Samburu

On this day, you will be picked at your hotel/place of residence. Your excitement starts there.  Embark on a relaxed through the Central Highlands all the way to the Northern frontier of Kenya to Samburu. You will arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and have lunch and later embark on an afternoon game drive at Samburu National Reserve.

Embark on an early morning pre-breakfast game drive at Samburu Game reserve before heading back to your lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, relax leisurely by the pool or enjoy the other amazing amenities at your disposal like the gym etc. After lunch, we will have another game drive.

After breakfast, we will witness what the amazing Samburu offers for one last time as arriving in the Nairobi city late afternoon.
